I’m very, very happy to note that, not only was Michael Z’s $500 loan funded in 11 hours, but also that $150 of it was re-loaned after being paid back from Joshua’s loan. In other words, for example:

Renee —$25—> Joshua —$25—> Renee —$25—> Michael Z.

(I know it should be more of a circular or spiral graphic, but all I can do here quickly is the linear!)

Are you beginning to see the power of this whole thing (if you hadn’t already)? Renee has let go of $25. It came back to her and she let it go again. ONE $25 investment has played a role in TWO families’ lives.

This is not a new concept. It was borrowed from Kiva.org and put to a new use. I’ve heard that Kiva.org does $1 million of loans every 7-10 days. And they’re only 3 years old. Lend4Health is now about 6 months old. Imagine the possibilities if $1 million were flowing through Lend4Health (and back again) every 7-10 days.
